A course set brief to interpret one of ten classic paintings. I chose Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper and my final interpretation was a 6ft long, purely typographical banner displaying thirteen death row prisoners last meals. The piece made intentional references to the original Last Supper, thirteen people, Christian names, the sixth person a woman and the physical nature of the piece.
